# Spoken

[Spoken](http://spoken.co) was founded by [Cameron Moll](http://cameronmoll.com/) and it’s like **[instagram](http://instagram.com) for audio**. The idea is that the human voice is more intimate than nearly any other form of communication. The audio posts are no longer than 4 minutes long, so I guess you might say it’s like **micro-podcasting**. I don’t see an app yet, or in page audio recording, so for now you need to record your post manually and upload it, but I still [signed up](https://spoken.co/m/craig), because I think the idea is pretty brilliant. In addition to in page recording and an app, I’d also like to see some sharing and embedding tools, like [YouTube](http://youtube.com). I’m looking forward to listening to what you have to say.
